Please review the following manufacturing assumptions to ensure an effective program kick-off.

Chase EMS uses IPC-A-610 Level II as our in-house workmanship standard. Special requirements relating to manufacturing and/or quality should be referenced on both our quotation and the customer purchase order.

Any special manufacturing or quality requirements must be clearly noted on the purchase order. Pallet sizes should not exceed 16 inches by 20 inches, and the appropriate tooling holes and fiducials should be available to enable automated assembly. Chase EMS warranties our workmanship for one year excluding failures due to design problems or consigned components.

Please include the following information on purchase orders:

  • Revision Level
  • Unique Tooling Requirements
  • Source Inspection Requirement
  • Test Requirements: functional and/or in-circuit

  • Bill of Materials
  • Assembly Drawing
  • Golden Board
  • Board Fabrication information
  • CAD Data
  • Approved Vendor List
  • ECO Information
  • Consigned Parts List
  • Delivery Instructions
